Norman G. Saunders is the CEO and Founder of the Family Retreat Hub, bringing over 40 years of construction industry expertise to the role. A master craftsman at heart, He specializes in carpentry, a core discipline that has shaped his entire career. As a General Contractor, he has built Homes and additions as well as Gazebos, Pergolas, Decks, so he knows what quality should look like. Focusing on building a trusted e-commerce brand that connects customers with quality products from reputable manufacturers is Norman’s main goal. Creating a convenient, customer-focused shopping experience while developing strong, long-term relationships with the brands and manufacturers I work with.

Norman is passionate about discovering great products, creating new opportunities for manufacturers to reach online customers, and building a business based on professionalism, integrity, and sustainable growth. He believes successful partnerships are built on clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to serving customers well.

Beyond executive leadership, Norman is deeply committed to workforce development, actively teaching the next generation of builders by instructing high school and college students in the trade of carpentry.

When not on-site or in the classroom, Norman enjoys spending time with his family outdoors on the grill, or around a fire. He also enjoys camping and getting “away from it all” when he needs to decompress.

All this experience and lifestyle is what brought Norman to open The Family Retreat Hub online store. He wanted to give everyone ability and opportunity to create their own Family Retreat at Home and escape the hustle and bustle of the world by just walking out their back door.
